On Sunday, April 5, there was a four vehicle wreck which sent six people to hospital.
According to Las Vegas police the accident happened shortly before 2 p.m. near the intersection of Bonanza and Pecos roads in the north east part of the valley. It is not yet known what caused the collision.
First responders were called immediately and discovered six people were injured and four cars were involved. Four of those injured were taken to University Medical Center and one was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. The final victim was cut free from a vehicle around an hour later by Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and was also taken to hospital.
None of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening.
Roads were closed in the area while Metro investigators were on scene.
